Plans is the machine-readable pricing-plan profile for VATSIM on the APIs.io network, conforming to the API Commons Plans specification.
It defines 2 plans, with named plans including Free / Open Access, Authenticated / Division Access.

Plans
All VATSIM public APIs (Data API, Events API, METAR API, Slurper API) are freely available with no authentication required and no subscription fees. The Core API offers public access to anonymized member data at no cost. VATSIM is a non-profit community network funded by voluntary donations.
VATSIM divisions and subdivisions can apply for elevated Core API access to retrieve full (non-anonymized) member data including personal information and detailed ratings. Access requires approval from the VATSIM Technology Team and use of an APIv2 key passed via X-API-Key header.
