Redpanda Plans Pricing

Redpanda is offered in two consumption models. The open-source Redpanda Community Edition (Business Source License 1.1) is free to download and self-host with all core streaming features. The commercial Redpanda Cloud is sold in three deployment topologies — Serverless (multi-tenant, usage-based), Dedicated (single-tenant on Redpanda-managed infrastructure), and BYOC (Bring Your Own Cloud, deployed in the customer's account) — each priced by throughput tier with options for tiered storage. Redpanda Enterprise (self-managed) and BYOC carry a license fee with support, SSO, audit logging, and tiered storage.

Self-managed Redpanda under the Business Source License 1.1 — Kafka API, Admin API, Schema Registry, HTTP Proxy, rpk, Console (open-source). All core features required to run a streaming platform in production at no software cost. Customer pays only their own infrastructure (compute, storage, network).

Self-managed deployment of Redpanda with the Enterprise feature set — tiered storage, transparent disk encryption, SSO/OIDC, audit logging, role-based access control, AWS PrivateLink, and 24x7 support. License fee is custom-quoted by capacity, deployment, and term.
