Filecoin · Pricing Plans

Plans

Filecoin's public infrastructure is primarily free and permissionless. The Glif-hosted Lotus nodes offer a public endpoint at no cost, with custom/dedicated node options available on request. Storage onramp services (Fil One, Lighthouse, Pinata, etc.) each have their own commercial pricing based on storage volume. Filecoin+ (Fil+) provides verified DataCap at no monetary cost — allocators grant DataCap to qualified clients, who then enjoy 10x storage deal quality multiplier from miners.

Plans is the machine-readable pricing-plan profile for Filecoin on the APIs.io network, conforming to the API Commons Plans specification.

It defines 3 plans, with named plans including Public (Free), Dedicated Node (Custom), Filecoin+ (Fil+) Verified Storage.

Tagged areas include Decentralized Storage, Web3, IPFS, Blockchain, and Storage Deals.

Plans

Public (Free)

Open, unauthenticated access to the Glif public Lotus node endpoints for both mainnet and Calibration testnet. Supports all read-only JSON-RPC and Ethereum RPC calls plus MPoolPush and EthSendRawTransaction. Limited to the most recent 2 000 blocks (~16.67 hours of chain history).

Dedicated Node (Custom)

Custom or dedicated Glif node endpoint with advanced permission settings, higher throughput, and optional archival access. Pricing and capacity determined via direct engagement with Glif.

Filecoin+ (Fil+) Verified Storage

Free program granting DataCap to verified clients, enabling 10x quality- adjusted power multiplier on storage deals. Allocators (formerly notaries) approve clients for DataCap via on-chain Verified Registry actor calls. No monetary cost — requires application and verification.
