D2L Brightspace API access is available to all D2L customers and partners running Brightspace Core. Pricing for Brightspace is custom-quoted based on organizational size and needs. There are no separately tiered API plans; API access is bundled with the Brightspace platform subscription. Partners and developers may access test environments through the D2L Partner program.

Plans
All D2L Brightspace customers have access to the Brightspace Learning Framework REST API as part of their platform subscription. API automation tools and resources are provided free of charge to customers and partners. Customers work with their Brightspace Administrator for non-production API testing environments.
EdTech companies and developers building integrations with Brightspace can access dedicated test server environments through the D2L Partner program. Partners gain access to development sandboxes, early API previews, and dedicated technical support for integration development.
