Carta Plans Pricing
Carta's API access model is geared toward partners and Carta platform customers. Third-party partners require an invitation and a valid SOC 2 Type 2 certification. Existing Carta customers (companies and investment firms) may request API access to their own data on demand. Public pricing for API access is not published; partners are directed to contact [email protected] for commercial terms. Playground / mock environment access is available without credentials via mock-api.carta.com.

Plans
Carta platform customers (companies, investment firms) can request API access to consume their own Carta data on demand. This access is tied to their existing Carta subscription and does not require a separate API pricing tier.
Third-party partners wishing to consume Carta data on behalf of shared customers must apply to the partner program. As of 2025, access is invite-only and requires a valid SOC 2 Type 2 certification. Commercial pricing is negotiated directly with Carta's partner team.
A mocking service is available to all developers at mock-api.carta.com for experimentation and integration development without requiring production credentials or partner approval.
