BitMart does not charge for API access itself; commercial pricing is expressed as spot and futures trading commissions through a VIP tier system based on BMX token holdings and 30-day cumulative trading volume. API connectivity, market data, and WebSocket streams are provided at no cost; revenue is captured per-trade. New API users receive a 30-day API VIP3 trial with 0% spot trading fees. The BMX token provides a 25% fee discount when used for fee payment, though this discount does not apply during API program enrollment.

Free programmatic access to BitMart's REST and WebSocket APIs for any authenticated account. Trading fees, not API connectivity, are what is billed.

Default maker/taker commission for accounts below BMX holdings thresholds. Trading pairs are organized into classes (A through D) with different base fee rates. BMX token holders receive a 25% discount when paying fees in BMX (not applicable during API VIP enrollment).

Volume-discounted maker/taker fees for accounts that meet BMX token holding thresholds. BitMart offers 12 VIP levels based primarily on BMX balance, with maker fees as low as 0.04% and taker fees as low as 0.045% at the highest tier. A 25% BMX payment discount further reduces fees but is not combinable with API VIP program enrollment.
