Band Protocol Plans Pricing

BandChain is a public permissionless blockchain. Access to the REST and gRPC APIs is free and open — no API key or subscription is required to query price feeds, oracle scripts, or request data. Costs arise on-chain in the form of BAND token gas fees for submitting data requests and transactions. Data sources may charge per-query fees payable to their publishers in BAND.

Band Protocol Plans Pricing is the machine-readable pricing-plan profile for Band Protocol on the APIs.io network, conforming to the API Commons Plans specification.

It defines 3 plans, covering free, usage-based, and enterprise tiers, with named plans including Public Node Access, On-Chain Data Request, Validator Node.

Tagged areas include Blockchain, Oracle, DeFi, and Cross-Chain.

Plans

Public Node Access free

Free, open access to BandChain mainnet and testnet REST and gRPC endpoints. No authentication required for read-only queries including price feeds, oracle script results, and block data.

REST API queries (read-only) (request · month) 0.00 USD
gRPC queries (read-only) (request · month) 0.00 USD
On-Chain Data Request usage-based

Submitting a MsgRequestData transaction to BandChain to trigger an oracle data request incurs a gas fee in BAND tokens. The fee depends on the oracle script complexity, the number of validators asked, and gas price. Data sources may charge additional per-query fees set by their publishers.

Transaction gas fee (uband) (transaction · usage) variable USD
Data source query fee (uband, set by publisher) (query · usage) variable USD
Validator Node enterprise

Running a BandChain validator requires hardware, staking BAND tokens as collateral, and operating data-fetching infrastructure (yoda reporter). Validators earn block rewards and data request fees in BAND from the network.

Minimum stake (BAND) (BAND staked · continuous) variable USD
